The Theatre program at LSS is built on the understanding of the actor, the space and the audience. Those three essential components are what the theatre is built on. It is through the development, understanding and refinement of these areas that build strong acting (and theatrical) processes are developed.
Theatre provides students with opportunities to examine the thoughts, feelings, beliefs and actions of themselves, their community and the world around them. Theatre reflects and affects the aesthetic, cultural, historical and global context in which it exists. It is also applicable to a variety of career and life situations.
